The Principal Financial Group has signed a new retirement plan sales alliance relationship with Edward Jones, in a move to expand its distribution channels and to sustain strong sales growth through national broker-dealers.
According to sales alliance relationship, The Principal will serve as a preferred retirement plan product provider as well as allowing Edward Jones’ financial advisors to sell defined contribution plans with The Principal.
Edward Jones is an investment firm headquartered in St. Louis, has more than 12,000 financial advisors catering to seven million clients in the US.
The Principal Financial Group, founded in 1879, is a global investment management that provides retirement services, insurance solutions and asset management. It has$320.8bn in assets under management and serves17.8m customers worldwide from offices in Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America and the US.
