To offer underwriting, loss control and claims expertise for property, cargo and casualty coverages for wind and solar energy sectors
PowerGuard Specialty Insurance Services, a managing general agent and Lloyds cover holder specialising in insurance and risk management solutions for the wind and solar energy companies, has formed a marketing alliance with Chartis’ global marine and energy division.
The company said that the alliance will combine its PowerClip warranty product and underwriting expertise with Chartis’ leadership in the renewable energy sector worldwide.
According to the company, the alliance is expected to provide $400m in property capacity. In addition, it also offers underwriting, loss control and claims expertise for property, cargo and casualty coverages across the entire value chain within the wind and solar energy sectors, including OEMs, project developers and power generation operators.
