Hartford based Phoenix Life Insurance has selected McCamish Systems, an Infosys BPO company specializing in insurance and retirement business process solutions, as administration services partner.
Under this agreement McCamish Systems will follow a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) model for the conversion of some of Phoenix’s data, policy administration and customer support to an Infosys platform.
The conversion will also include active in-force policies from several different legacy administrative systems migrated to a single Infosys platform.
Phoenix senior vice president for product implementation and operations Thomas Buckingham said this new alliance will standardize, simplify and reduce the cost of the business processes and technology they use to administer the in-force business.
