Pennsylvania Lumbermens Mutual Insurance (PLM) has selected Instec, a provider of software and services, to license its quicksolver 3 software for commercial package policy, commercial auto, and umbrella in all 50 states in US.

The agreement also includes a license for the quicksolver Integration Extensions add-on that allows the integration of quicksolver 3 with external software, such as billing and claims systems.

The quicksolver 3 solution will be the core policy administration solution for PLM insurance business, and will be integrated with several internal systems, replacing the multiple legacy systems with newly streamlined workflows and processes.

The joint implementation effort will include extending the core quicksolver 3 software to include multiple filed products, coverages and hundreds of company-specific forms.

PLM vice president of Information Technology Joseph McGurrin the company will rely on Instec to manage compliance and bureau content updates, giving increased operational efficiencies and more confidence in the compliance to ensure PLM continue to lead the lumber, woodworking and building materials insurance marketplace.

PLM is a provider insurance products for lumber, woodworking and building material industries with property, general liability, inland marine, business automobile, and liability solutions.
