Patriot National Insurance Group, a provider of workers' compensation insurance products and alternative market solutions, has appointed Thomas McCarthy as new regional vice president of the Gulf Coast Region.
As regional vice president, McCarthy will oversee all marketing and underwriting responsibilities for the Gulf Coast Region, and will be based at Patriot’s Lake Mary (Orlando), Florida regional office.
The Gulf Coast Region region includes the states of Florida, Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana.
Earlier to Patriot National, McCarthy was vice president at Zenith Insurance. He has also held leadership positions at ManagedComp, the PMA Insurance Group, Orion Capital and the Marriott.
Patriot National Insurance Group CEO and chairman Steven Mariano said Tom is very well known in Florida and brings a wealth of experience managing regional underwriting operations.
