Patriot National Insurance Group has appointed Charles Schuver as new president and chief operating officer of its subsidiary Guarantee Insurance, a specialty workers' compensation insurance provider.
In his new role, Schuver will oversee all operations of Guarantee Insurance. He was previously chief underwriting officer for Guarantee Insurance and will continue to retain that responsibility.
Schuver has 30 years of experience in the insurance industry and has held numerous senior management positions with various insurance companies.
Prior to joining Patriot National, Schuver was corporate underwriting executive at Arch Insurance Group, and held previous positions of strategic development executive, casualty practice leader and general manager at Royal and Sun Alliance Insurance Group.
Guarantee Insurance focuses on workers’ compensation insurance with an expertise in alternative market insurance products. It offers agents and brokers creative risk transfer solutions customized for their clients.
Guarantee’s product line includes large deductible, segregated cell portfolio captives, agency-owned captives, investor captives and traditional workers’ compensation insurance.
