New Jersey-based car insurance company Palisades has launched a new mobile website, http://m.palisades.com, which enables policyholders to manage their accounts through an Internet-capable mobile device.

According to Palisades, the new mobile site features a user-friendly interface developed by Conmio, a software and services company, which also supports the mobile websites of New York Times and National Public Radio (NPR). An insurance customer can find a Palisades agent with a single click.

The company said that the new mobile site offers the ‘Manage My Policy’ portal, an online account management tool that enables payments on personal auto policies with a single click. It also offers coverage details and billing information and also click-to-call technology to immediately report an accident to Palisades claim center.

In addition, the company provides the customers, who want to visit an agent for personalized coverage guidance or make a mobile payment, with multiple options to suit preferences of each individual.

Ed Fernandez, CEO of Palisades, said: “Mobile devices are quickly becoming a popular way for customers to access the internet and web based applications. Our new mobile site provides another option to make it easier and more convenient to do business with Palisades.

“Development in the interactive space is a long-term commitment for Palisades, and we will continue to enhance our current applications as well as create new conveniences and content.”
