Pan-American Life Insurance Company has appointed Jorge Gonzalez as the company's new field vice president of international dollar sales.

Mr Gonzalez will be responsible for developing the company’s individual life international business in south Florida and for recruiting and developing independent general producers in parts of Latin America to reach high net worth clients in the region.

Most recently, Mr Gonzalez was responsible for managing the development of the life, health and investment business lines in Latin America and the Caribbean as director of market development at Todd Green International, an insurance distribution company.

Felix Martinez, senior vice president of international dollar sales, said: Mr Gonzalez’s knowledge of the south Florida life insurance market enhances Pan-American Life’s ability to meet the needs of foreign nationals who want to purchase insurance in dollar denominated policies.
