Pacific Life Insurance Company has named Dewey Bushaw as the new executive vice president of the company's annuities and mutual funds division, effective January 1, 2009.

Mr Bushaw will succeed Bill Robinson, who is retiring after a 14-year career at Pacific Life, 11 of those overseeing the annuities and mutual funds division.

Mr Bushaw joined Pacific Life in 1994 as a national sales manager. He was promoted to vice president of sales, and then to senior vice president, with increased responsibilities in the internal wholesaling, national accounts, and conference planning departments.

In 2005, Mr Bushaw was named senior vice president and chief marketing officer for the annuities and mutual funds division, with additional responsibility for all marketing areas within the division, including product development.
