Aon eSolutions, technology solutions business of Aon, said that OptaComp, a wholly owned subsidiary of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, has selected iVOS as its complete claims administration system.
According to Aon eSolutions, its iVOS system offers insurance companies a range of capabilities, including claims management, policy administration and billing. IVOS, with its new platform and service-oriented architecture, enables carriers to deliver efficient capabilities and cost-effectivenes.
The company said that iVOS will enable OptaComp to support its clients who have specific workers’ compensation processes and workflow configurations.
In addition, iVOS will provide OptaComp an enhanced technology platform with built-in insurance intelligence, embodying both industry knowledge and best practices.
Bob Stolp, director of information technology at OptaComp, said: “We needed a system that was highly intuitive and had a configurable web-based user interface. Our goal is to create a host of business rules which will allow us to optimize cost savings, operational efficiency and best practices for the benefit of our clients.”
