OptaComp, a Florida-based provider of workers' compensation insurance products and services, has deployed iVOS claims administration platform from Aon eSolutions, the technology solutions business of Aon Corporation.
OptaComp developed a new model to take an aggressive approach to keep injured workers on the job while delivering the right care at the right time with the right clinician.
According to the Aon eSolutions, the iVOS insurance solution serves as a single solution for all insurance transactions including claims administration; policy and underwriting; medical cost containment; event reporting and management and document imaging.
OptaComp director of information technology Bob Stolp said once the claims administration platform went live, the firm experienced immediate benefits.
"We’ve gone paperless by integrating document management. We’ve streamlined information exchange and reduced claim cycle times.
"In addition, our workflow has greatly improved and we’ve gained new capabilities, including automated bill review and litigation management," Stolp said.
