OneBeacon Professional Insurance (OBPI), a member of OneBeacon Insurance Group, has unveiled its new identity.

The OneBeacon Professional Insurance name applies to the former OneBeacon Professional Partners and its First Media division. The new brand identity is meant to emphasise the company’s focus to provide professional liability insurance solutions to a suite of industry groups.

Paul Romano, president of OBPI, said: “We are excited to reposition our professional liability businesses under the OneBeacon Professional Insurance name. This is a small and perhaps subtle change but one that clearly relays who we are and what we stand for. And bringing our new brand to life is our commitment to providing agents, brokers and insurance buyers with an entirely better insurance experience.”

The new identity was initially unveiled to OBPI employees on September 14, followed by introductions to brokers, agents and wholesalers. A redesigned Web site – www.onebeaconpro.com – was also launched mid-September. The company is likely to run a series of ads to introduce its new brand and corporate identity to the insurance industry throughout the fourth quarter.
