Ohio National Financial Services (Ohio National), a US-based provider of insurance products, has deployed Insurance Technologies' FireLight solution for electronic term life insurance business processing.
The FireLight will enable Ohio National to offer a quick and efficient means to its distribution channels for submission of new and ‘in good order’ applications to the corporate headquarters, according to the company.
Selected after a comprehensive evaluation process, the solution enables the company to effectively transact business and accelerate the issuance process.
Ohio National Information Systems senior vice president Paul Twilling said, ”With FireLight, we found a standards-based, mobile-ready electronic application capability to renovate an existing 10-year-old homegrown web-based process.”
Insurance Technologies FireLight Product Management vice president Jim Ferrell said the solution will deliver administrative tools required by Ohio National to manage future lines of business within the same FireLight solution.
”The implementation of FireLight at Ohio National was truly a collaborative effort culminating with an ACORD eLabel-based implementation, which allows Ohio National’s producers to expand their sales opportunities and transact sales on mobile tablet devices,” Ferrell added.
Using FireLight platform, the company will also be capable of managing its own product offering through creation, addition or update of any product at any given point.
Ohio National is a provider of a variety of insurance and financial products to more than 50,000 representatives in 47 states.
