To cater to the requirements of passengers in Nigeria and Ghana

Oceanic Insurance (Oceanic) has signed an insurance pact with Aero to cater to the needs of passengers in Nigeria and Ghana, reported in Daily Sun

 

Both the firms have announced the opening of an online travel insurance scheme, saying it was the result of a market research process that sought to provide value proposition to its customers across Nigeria and passengers on the Ghana route.

 

Lafor Olateru-Olagbegi, Group Managing Director, Oceanic Insurance, said: “The scheme would cover compensation for personal accidents, flight delays/cancellations, travel emergency medical expenses, and baggage delays/inconveniences. We have a product that will give customers complete solutions to various concerns associated with air travel. Special help desk lines are also available for customers who opt to reach Oceanic Insurance and Aero directly for enquiries.

 

He further stated that customers who choose to purchase the insurance scheme online, will be expected to choose three options of travel insurance.
