Insurance coverage on the international option takes effect before the insured passengers arrives at the airport

Oceanic Insurance, in alliance with Aero Airline, has introduced an online travel insurance scheme to address air travel challenges for its customers in Nigeria and Ghana – reported in Vanguard.

The insurance coverage on the international option takes effect before the insured passengers arrives at the airport on the first departure date, provided that the premium is paid and a copy of the Aero Travel Insurance Confirmation has been issued and printed off the website.

Prince Lafor Olateru-Olagbegi, Managing Director, Oceanic Insurance, said: “The scheme will cover compensation for personal accidents, flight delays/cancellations, travel emergency medical expenses, and baggage delays/inconveniences. Oceanic and Aero had established web-based platforms that will allow customers access and conclude transactions on the scheme from any location in the world.”

Bridget Oyefeso-Odusami, Marketing Manager, Aero Airline, said: “This product will further enhance complete customer satisfaction.”
