OAMPS Insurance Brokers, an Australia-based specialist schemes insurance broking firm, has added a new fleet product for the haulage market in the UK.
The new fleet product includes the full range of OAMPS’ current cover extensions, including 24hr spillage response and environmental clean-up coverage.
Having provided fleet insurance for tankers and hazardous haulage for over 20 years now, the company claims the new scheme will complement with their existing hazardous haulage facility by providing cover for fleets that carry hazardous materials.
Oamps UK CEO Howard Pearson said following feedback from clients and brokers, they identified a need for a product that would meet the needs of UK hauliers who operate in the middle ground between the non-hazardous and hazardous fleet markets.
"At a time when other insurers appear to be questioning their focus in this area, this product launch demonstrates that our commitment couldn’t be stronger," Pearson added.
The new fleet product is offered in the haulage market only through the OAMPS panel of brokers.
