Mr. McAndrew and Mr. Skoch will report to George Kallop, president and CEO

NYMAGIC (NYM), an insurance holding company, has appointed senior officers at its subsidiary, Mutual Marine Office. Tim McAndrew has been appointed as executive vice president (EVP) and chief underwriting officer (CUO), Ocean Marine, and Ed Skoch has been appointed as EVP and chief underwriting officer, Other Liabilities and Inland Marine/Fire. Mr. McAndrew and Mr. Skoch will report to George Kallop, president and CEO.

Tim McAndrew joined the company as a marine underwriter and most recent he served as SVP and manager of the Marine and Energy Division. Prior to joining the company, he held positions with Allstate, Navigators and Highlands Insurance Companies.

Ed Skoch most recently served as SVP and manager of the Professional Liability and Excess Workers’ Compensation Division. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Skoch worked in a variety of positions as a claims adjuster, defense counsel and coverage counsel.
