NSM Insurance Group has appointed Michael Barkasy as new national director of sales and business development.
He previously held various positions of regional vice president & managing director for Liberty Mutual and senior vice president marketing at ACE USA.
He has over 25 years of experience in insurance sales and marketing and business development. Mike is a member of the board of directors – Philadelphia Insurance Society.
NSM Insurance Group CEO Geof McKernan said Barkasy brings his keen understanding and vast experience in the management and growth of independent agency relationships.
Mike will provide leadership on broad issues ranging from channel planning, sales and growth, to delivery of key services, product and process to our independent agents and brokers, McKernan said.
Mike will also lead our recruitment efforts in California, Texas and Illinois to bring into the company new business development managers.”
