Payment services company Tsys Europe and insurance provider Norwich Union have successfully launched a prepaid rewards card pilot scheme in the UK.
This scheme represents the second program that Norwich Union has live on the Tsys prepaid platform. The new card will be offered to Norwich Union (NU) household customers.
Each rewards card is preloaded with a value and can be used within a network of select retailers currently used for the NU insurance replacement card.
When we first put the idea of the rewards card to Tsys Europe, we knew it was going to be a tough task for them to complete the project within the timeframe we needed for a quick launch, said Howard Holmes for NU. They have met this challenge, enabling us to have a successful launch of the rewards card. This sends a strong message internally within NU that demanding program timeframes can be met by Tsys Europe.
Tsys now processes multiple prepaid portfolios for major banks across Europe, including Bank of Ireland, Royal Bank of Scotland, Santander and Lloyds TSB.
