Jernbanepersonalets Forsikring Gjensidige (JFG), a Norwegian non-life insurance company, has successfully implemented the first phase of the FlexSure "end-to-end" core insurance platform replacement program.
The new policy administration system, developed by Mantacore, was selected to decrease significant operational and maintenance costs for JFG.
Currently in production as planned, FlexSure’s initial phase of the system replacement program includes group personal accident risk and professional indemnity insurance.
Mantacore CEO Finn Oskarsson said, "The initial delivery to JFG will form the base-line for the planed roll-out for all insurance products that are currently offered by JFG including some extensive customer self-service functionality not seen in the marketplace today.
"Not only are we implementing an efficient insurance and claims processing platform to JFG, but also electronic archive, Solvency II compliance and Call Center telephony integration – just to mention a few."
JFG, a part of Jernbanepersonalets bank og forsikring (JBF), has eight offices across Norway, a central call center and self-service over the internet.
