North Star Mutual Insurance has deployed iPartners’ Insurance Scorecard business intelligence solution, which will offer business intelligence, advanced analytics, and single-view of insurer’s policy and claims data.

According to iPartners, the solution will be delivered through a Software as a Service (SaaS) model, which will expedite decision making.

The underwriter claimed that it has picked up the intelligence solution due to the combination of the quality of the product, quick time to market, an attractive TCO and iPartners’ proven expertise in business intelligence and insurance.

North Star senior vice president and CIO Verlin Scheer said in addition to offering an outstanding solution with Insurance Scorecard, a big contributor to the firm’s selection of iPartners was the consistently positive feedback it received from the iPartners customers.

The scorecard will provide a broad range of North Star users with a robust reporting and analytics environment, dashboards, scorecards, key operating metrics, and detailed analysis as well as consolidated view of the property and casualty data.
