NLC selects Thunderhead bringing number of insurers leveraging Thunderhead & Guidewire beyond 40

Thunderhead, the global leader in enterprise solutions for customer communications, today announced that New London County Mutual Insurance Company (NLC), a New England Property/Casualty insurer, has selected Thunderhead Smart Communications to create, manage and deliver all outbound policyholder correspondence.

Smart Communications is the industry-leading SaaS customer communications solution that provides business users ultimate control over creating and managing personalized multi-channel customer communications.

NLC will transform its core operational systems – underwriting, policy administration, billing, and claims management – using an integrated solution from Thunderhead partner Guidewire Software, a provider of software products to Property/Casualty insurers.

Smart Communications provides out-of-the box integration with Guidewire InsuranceSuite to create all outbound customer communications from NLC’s operational systems. Guidewire and Thunderhead have over 40 shared customers worldwide within the insurance industry.
