Nippon Life Benefits, a provider of employee benefits to small and medium sized companies, said that it will offer its small group and large group health plans to companies in Texas and South Carolina.

According to the company, in both the states, employers will have access to a full suite of competitive medical plan designs, including preferred provider organizations (PPOs), high-deductible health plans (HDHPs), and its new offering, FlexChoice, which helps employers to create a plan to fit their specific budget needs.

Nippon Life Benefits’ group insurance programs provide medical, life, dental, disability, vision and prescription drug benefits. The new FlexChoice program gives employers an option to determine deductibles, out-of-pocket costs, co-pay options, drug, wellness, maternity and other kinds of benefits to match their budget requirements.

Toshihiro Nakashima, president and CEO of Nippon Life Benefits, said: “By offering our small group and large group plans in Texas and South Carolina, Nippon Life Benefits will provide competitive options to help companies attract and retain employees.”
