NFP, a leading insurance broker and consultant that provides employee benefits, property & casualty (P&C), retirement, and individual insurance and wealth management solutions, has acquired Horenberg Insurance Services.
The transaction closed on 1 April 2015.
Founded in 1971, Horenberg, based in Burtonsville, MD, offers a broad range of P&C insurance and employee benefits programs.
Horenberg President Glenn Horenberg, who has more than 35 years of industry experience, is now Managing Director, NFP Property & Casualty, where he will report to Terrence Scali, Chief Executive Officer, NFP Property & Casualty.
Robert Horenberg and Janet Horenberg, each with 30-plus years of industry experience, have each been named Director.
Additionally, to create a scaled operation in the Mid-Atlantic with greater combined resources, the existing office in Beltsville, MD will merge into the NFP Burtonsville office.
