New Zealand-based rural insurer FMG is set to deploy Guidewire ClaimCenter as its new claims management system, as well as Guidewire Claim Portal for vendors.

With the new selections, FMG has turned into a full Guidewire InsuranceSuite customer, as it already deployed BillingCenter and PolicyCenter in 2013 through all lines of its business.

FMG will replace its in-house claims management system with ClaimCenter that will help to deliver effective service to the clients.

FMG business information services general manager Geoff Yeats said: "Following on from our positive experiences with PolicyCenter and BillingCenter, the adoption of ClaimCenter will help us to continue to enhance our client’s service experience and employee satisfaction."

Guidewire ClaimCenter has been developed to meet specific needs of property and casualty insurers and is available as a standalone system or as part of Guidewire InsuranceSuite. It can be incorporated to an insurer’s legacy systems or third party applications.

The new Guidewire products will allow FMG to improve the overall claims experience for policyholders and obtain better visibility into claims handling operations.
