The Navigators Group’s US underwriting agency, Navigators Management has appointed Mark Yunque as chief actuary and senior vice president and will report to senior vice president and chief financial officer Ciro DeFalco.
In his new role, Yunque will be responsible for leading the global actuarial function of the company.
Prior to joining Navigators, Yunque served at Liberty International Underwriters as global chief actuary as well as held various other positions at GRE Insurance, Continental Insurance and Motors Insurance.
DeFalco said, "Mark brings proven leadership to the Navigators team as well as an exceptional breadth of experience in domestic and international specialty lines, and a deep skill set, which includes extensive economic capital modeling experience."
"His leadership of our actuarial team will deepen the partnership between our technical underwriting culture and our actuarial and risk functions," DeFalco added.
