Navigators Management, the environmental division of Navigators Group, has released a new environmental contractor pollution liability policy.
Known as Toolkit II, the new policy will provide liability coverage for pollution incidents to general service, specialty and trade contractors.
The new policy will provide coverage of up to $15m, sudden and accidental coverage at the contractor’s owned premises, apart from protection for environmental crisis management and emergency response costs.
In addition, the policy will also provide defense costs outside the limits and offer coverage on a practice or project specific basis.
Navigators Environmental senior vice president and practice leader Brad Kuchinic said there is a growing demand for intelligent risk transfer solutions for complex environmental exposures and regulations faced by contractors.
"To meet this demand and better serve our clients, we recognize the need for our policies to adapt and evolve to these emerging liabilities," Kuchinic added.
