The National Security Group has reported total revenues of $18.04m for the second quarter of 2010, an increase of 8% compared to $16.70m for the same quarter in 2009.

Premium income for the second quarter of 2010 were $15.90m compared to $15.37m for the same period last year.

The company’s investment income was $1.19m for the quarter compared to $1.37m for the same quarter prior year.

For the quarter ended 30 June 2010, the company posted net income of $0.81m, or $0.33 per share, compared to $0.09m, or $0.04 per share, for the same period last year.
