National Interstate Insurance, a wholly owned subsidiary of National Interstate, has launched its commercial vehicle insurance product in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia, expanding the availability of product from California, Ohio, Texas.

The company is also planning to expand the product into other states later this year, with new agent/broker relationships.

According to the National Interstate Insurance, the commercial vehicle product offers bodily injury limits of up to $1m and enhancements include: allowing gross vehicle weights up to 60,000 lbs., additional coverage options for greater agent and customer flexibility, lower up-front down-payments, and for-hire rates.

National Interstate Insurance has said that the coverage is now available for up to 10 motorized units, 10 trailers, and 20 drivers on a single policy.

To facilitate submissions, we offer agents a fully-interactive Internet-based policy-processing system that allows them to generate quotes, bind coverage, and even quote and process endorsements on-line.
