To reach out for the companies ready for an alternative risk management solution

National Interstate Insurance, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ohio-based National Interstate, and a provider of captive insurance programs, has expanded its Titan group captive insurance program to include general liability coverage.

Titan group was designed specifically for mid-to-larger cranes, riggers and specialized heavy haulers. The program now offers coverage for auto liability, physical damage, workers’ compensation and general liability, and is available in all states, said the company.

The company claims that the program provides a risk management solution with the potential for reduced long-term insurance costs and annual return of premium and investment income.

Tony Mercurio, vice president of alternative products at National Interstate Insurance, said: “Adding general liability is a major enhancement for the Titan program. We are very pleased to be able to offer this high-demand coverage to our crane, rigging and heavy haul customers. It rounds out the portfolio we have built for this specialized industry, and allows us to better serve our clients.”

Terry Phillips, senior vice president at National Interstate Insurance, said: “We are proud of Titan’s successful evolution over the past several years. We believe this recent enhancement will allow us to reach even more companies ready for an alternative risk management solution which allows them to share risk and reward with other best-in-class operators. This program expansion is just one more example of National Interstate’s leadership in the alternative risk transfer insurance market.”
