National Catastrophe Adjusters d/b/a NCA Group, a provider of insurance services management, has acquired NHI General Adjusters, a provider of property loss adjusting and claims management services in North America.

The acquisition is expected to enhance NCA Group’s large commercial loss adjusting capabilities and daily claims services in the Midwest.

Established in 1984, Missouri-based NHI General Adjusters has five locations in Missouri and Nebraska and regularly services Kansas, Illinois, Arkansas and Iowa.

Upon acquisition, NHI personnel will continue to operate under the NHI General Adjusters name and the company will maintain its current locations.

NCA Group president and chief operating officer Jim Pearl said that this acquisition, which follows the recent acquisition of TM Mayfield & Company, represents a continuation of strategy to align with companies that will enable NCA to serve all of the property loss adjusting needs of insurance carriers throughout North America.

NCA Group chairman and CEO Dave Ross said NHI General Adjusters will be the keystone for expansion in the commercial loss adjusting market.

NHI General Adjusters president John Newsam said along with NCA’s support, NHI Regional Managers, Tim Gardner and Scott Charbonneau, plan to expand the highly trained and experienced GAs and EGAs and add to the existing locations to ensure nationwide coverage to help insurance company clients with high exposure property losses.
