The National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE) has launched a dental insurance sales agency NaseCare health, which it claims to give more options of health coverage for customers.

According to company, the carrier options through NaseCare include UnitedHealthOne, Assurant, AIG, Humana, Anthem and World Insurance, and plans for expansion across the country including licensing with additional health carriers. NaseCare is licensed to sell in 36 states, to date.

The company said that the NaseCare team has appointed Scott Scribner as chief executive officer, and Chuck Taggart as president and Barbara Scribner as executive director. In his new role, Mr Scribner will oversee the operation of NaseCare with a mission of delivering efficient insurance products to customers and Mr Taggart will recruit and train sales agents across the country.

Robert Hughes, president of NASE, said: “For 29 years, the NASE has used outside sales organizations to spread the association’s mission of bringing benefits, education and legislative advocacy to America’s micro-businesses, to great effect. Teaming with NaseCare gives us a closer relationship to the sales process, and more flexibility over the benefits and services we offer.”
