MNU was acquired by HCC Insurance Holdings in January 2008
HCC Medical Insurance Services has declared that MultiNational Underwriters (MNU), a provider of insurance products to individuals and groups living, working and traveling outside their home countries, has adopted the HCC name to operate as HCC Medical Insurance Services (HCCMIS). HCCMIS underwrites on behalf of HCC Life Insurance Company and Lloyd’s Syndicate 4141.
MNU stated that the adoption of the HCC name is expected to enhance financial security to its portfolio and clients. It is likely to assimilate the company with its parent company, HCC Incurance Holdings. HCCMIS provides customer service from its headquarters in Indianapolis and its Latin American/Caribbean office in Miami, Florida.
Earlier MNU was acquired by HCC Insurance Holdings, a specialty insurance group, in January 2008.
