MSI Management UK and Ireland, a member of Japan-based MS&AD Insurance, is planning to open a new office in Dublin.
The new office, which is subject to regulatory approval, will be the intermediary hub for the company’s UK and Ireland regional underwriting business, with all insurance policies being underwritten by syndicate 3210 at Lloyd’s.
MSI will work with its brokers throughout the UK and Ireland to provide commercial insurance services and the revenues of the company are expected to be more than EUR100m over the next three to five years.
MSI Management regional operation head Alan Sheil said that the decision to locate the regional operation in Dublin is a real nod of approval for insurance industry employees in Ireland.
"We believe the Dublin office will play a pivotal role in our UK and Irish regional business operations," Sheil said.
