Financial services provider M&S Money has launched a new insurance policy called M&S Holiday HomeSafe, which will cover emergency repairs in consumer's homes while they are on holiday.
The policy will cover up to GBP500 in emergency repair costs including VAT per claim, with no limit to the number of claims during the policy year.
To benefit from this policy, customers need to register their holiday dates along with the details of their nominated keyholder, who will then be able to make a claim on behalf of the customer. This product is particularly useful to those whose home insurance does not include cover for emergency repairs.
