Morrill Group, a Massachusetts-based independent insurance agency has acquired Goldman Ernest & Liner Insurance Agency.
Following this acquisition, Goldman, Ernest & Liner Insurance Agency will operate as a subsidiary of Morrill Insurance. Stephen Liner will become vice president and head of commercial lines for the combined entities.
Morrill Group offers personal and commercial insurance products, with offices in Norwood, Sudbury and Wrentham.
Massachusetts-based North Bridge Advisors, a consulting firm consulting firm specializing in insurance agency acquisitions and mergers, has acted as the advisers for this transaction.
Morrill Group director Roland Capone said with more staff, volume and more locations, the company will offer customers and carriers more resources than ever. North Bridge Advisors brought together and made this deal happen.
