Marsh & McLennan Agency (MMA) has acquired Independent Insurance Group Benefits, the employee benefits division of Dallas-based Independent Insurance Group.
Established in 1994, Independent Insurance Group Benefits provides a full spectrum of employee benefits products and services to Dallas area employers.
MMA chairman and CEO David Eslick said that Joe Wiseman and the rest of the benefits team will join the company.
With annual revenue of approximately $1.4m, the group benefits division will now be a part of Prescott Pailet Benefits that was acquired by Marsh & McLennan Agency in July 2011.
"The addition enables us to offer greater resources and a broader platform to serve the employee benefits needs of our clients," Prescott added.
