Mitsui Sumitomo at Lloyd’s, a part of the MS&AD Group has appointed two senior underwriters, in a bid to leverage and increase its international liability insurance market share.

The company has appointed Peter Graham, a former Zurich Global Energy underwriter and also former Ace European Group underwriter Adrian Dench to the team at Syndicate 3210.

Andrew Dougall, underwriting manager at Mitsui Sumitomo at Lloyd’s was quoted by Insurance Times as saying, "Adrian and Peter bring a wealth of contacts and expertise that will help to strengthen Syndicate 3210’s product capability, especially in the energy sector."

"Combined with our sound financial strength and Lloyd’s platform, I believe the enhanced team is also now ideally positioned to secure a larger share of the growing international liability market."

Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance offers services including life insurance, fire and allied insurance, marine insurance, personal accident insurance, and other property and casualty insurance for its customers.
