UnitedHealthcare would provide health plan for approximately 65,000 children, through Children’ Health Insurance Program
AmeriChoice’ UnitedHealthcare has been selected by Mississippi’ State and School Employees Health Insurance Management Board, to be the state’ partner in its Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
UnitedHealthcare will be the provider of health plan for approximately 65,000 children throughout Mississippi who are enrolled in CHIP, for the new policy begining January 2010.

The AmeriChoice Personal Care Model features direct contact by clinical staff, who works to build a support network for chronically and acutely ill members, involving family, physicians, government and community-based organisations.
