As part of this consolidation plan, Charles Lane has been named as head of international casualty and will lead a team which includes five other new joiners.

The new executives will work closely with Miller’s existing property and casualty specialists to enable Miller expand globally.

Miller Graham chief executive Clarke said, "Facilitating close working relationships between our property and casualty specialists will help us to build on our reputation for being responsive to client needs and providing market leading advice."

MacDonald commented, "These enhancements will further improve the service we provide to our clients based in the UK and internationally and is in line with our development plans."
