The MGIS Companies (MGIS) in partnership with OmniSure Consulting Group has introduced a risk management programme, MGIS Physician Risk Management to assist physicians to strategically manage and reduce risk.
The MGIS programme provides physicians options for assessing risk to their practices in comprehensive on-site assessments and desktop assessments or online self assessments.
The programme features a toll-free helpline that enables the specialists to respond risk management queries, offer suggestions for improving compliance and refer callers to applicable resources in a confidential setting.
The Physician Risk Management also includes Continuing Medical Education (CME) courses and an online self-assessment tool with an optional consultant review.
The programme also features MGIS Advisor, which provides information on topics such as risk management, taxes, insurance and RAC audits from industry experts.
