MFC Appoints New Managing Director

Mr. Levert will lead sales and relationship management efforts in Quebec and in Eastern Canada

MFC Global Investment Management (MFC), an asset management division of Manulife Financial, has named Francoys Levert as Managing Director, sales and relationship management. Mr. Levert reports to Frank Saeli, Head of sales and relationship management for North-America.

Mr. Levert, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), will lead sales and relationship management efforts in Quebec and in Eastern Canada.

Prior to joining MFC, Mr. Levert served as Managing Director with State Street Global Markets. Prior to that, he held investment banking and analyst positions with Credit Lyonnais and Societe Generale.

Mr. Saeli said: “As we expand our distribution initiatives in the North American institutional marketplace, we will depend on the experience and dedication of Francoys and our growing sales team to market our investment strategies to a broad range of clients.”
