Expansion will help US-based MNCs manage their employee benefits programs worldwide

MetLife is taking a step forward in its 10-year-old strategic partnership with France’s Axa, that will help US-based MNCs manage their employee benefits programs worldwide.

According to MetLife, US-based employers, worldwide, face difficulties in trying to manage their employee benefits, including differences in variations in local regulations, government programs, language barriers and difficulty controlling multiple benefit plans.

The Maxis network has a firm hold in the Americas, Western Europe and the Asia Pacific regions. MetLife can provide multinational employers with access to life, disability, retirement and medical benefits for their employees.

Rudy Bethea, Vice President of Multinational Solutions, MetLife, said: “Although the benefits are being provided by two different insurers, the program is seamless for the parent company because it’s given a consolidated view, in one package, of areas including billing and claims management for both benefit programs in each country.”
