Global insurer MetLife has enhanced the workplace productivity solution, MetLife total absence management, to help employers in easing administrative burdens and improve productivity.

According to the MetLife, The enhanced features of the solution include: additional real-time, online information for Human Resource (HR) professionals and managers; expanded online leave submission capabilities for both employers and employees; the ability for managers to subscribe to automatic email notifications for new data affecting their workforce; and tracking and reporting insights.

Through the solution, the employers will also have the ability to identify patterns in employee absences with access to range of customized reporting features including: operational reports; productivity reports; organizational and analytical reports.

Additionally, to help facilitate a safe, timely and medically appropriate return-to-work experience for employees after disability-related absences, MetLife has introduced a new online resource for employers Return to Work Online.

The absence management solution is currently available to employers with 1,000 or more employees.

MetLife said Return to Work Online Online resource offers tips, case studies, a guide and links to other resources to help employers create an effective return-to-work program for qualified employees and drive improved workforce productivity.
