Alliant Insurance Services, the nation’s largest specialty insurance brokerage firm, has announced that Megan Datwyler has joined its Alliant Americas division as Vice President.

The Denver-based insurance expert will service a growing portfolio of middle market clients throughout the Southwest region.

"With experience on both the carrier and agency sides of the business, Megan brings an ‘all-in’ approach that addresses the entirety of her clients’ risk management and insurance needs."

A "triple threat" insurance professional, Datwyler has extensive expertise in property and casualty programs, loss prevention, and claims administration. Her diverse career history spans some of the region’s largest insurance carriers and brokerages. In addition to her experience as a producer, Datwyler has also served as an underwriter and in-house corporate risk management specialist.

Prior to joining Alliant, Datwyler was a sales executive with a regional insurance and financial services agency, where she managed a large, growing portfolio of clients. She also managed a multifaceted service team. Her client experience spans a broad range of industries, including real estate, healthcare, energy, manufacturing, public entity, and many others.

Alliant launched Alliant Americas in 2014 to expand the company’s presence in the middle market through strategic acquisitions and investments. Alliant Americas provides midsized businesses with targeted insurance products and services through a dedicated national platform.

Datwyler holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Colorado State University and a Strategic Decision and Risk Management Certification from the Stanford University Center for Professional Development.
