Medicus Insurance, a medical professional liability insurance (MPLI) carrier, has said that it is now selling MPLI coverage to physicians and surgeons in Florida.
With the coverage to physicians and surgeons in Florida, Medicus now sells insurance in 31 states from coast to coast.
Medicus said its Medicus Advantage Gold, a policy endorsement that protects insured’s electronic medical records along with a suite of other policy enhancements is available at no additional cost to the insured.
Medicus also offers its insureds the option to pay premiums in 12 equal, monthly payments.
Medicus Insurance president Eugenie Shea said Florida doctors will now be able to benefit from Medicus’ unique products, competitive rates and pleasing service.
Medicus Insurance provides medical malpractice insurance to physicians, surgeons and related medical service providers.
The insurer also focuses on traditional MPLI for individual physicians and practice groups across all specialties and territories in which it is licensed to do business.
