MDAdvantage, a New Jersey-based provider of medical professional liability insurance products, has introduced Supreme Advantage, a new insurance coverage to help New Jersey physicians protect against the rising business risks beyond the practice of medicine.

The Supreme Advantage covers insurance for employment practices liability, privacy and data security and medical practice administration.

The Employment Practice Liability Insurance (EPLI) covers wrongful termination, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, invasion of privacy, and other activities

Privacy and Data Security Insurance (PDS) covers network security and privacy violations involving HIPAA, data breaches and patient notification, data recovery and other activities.

Medical Practice Administration Insurance (MPAI) covers Medicaid audits, other types of audits and the resulting fines and penalties.

In addition, these coverages will be offered to MDAdvantage’s existing clients with no additional cost.

As part of the service, MDAdvantage offers its physician insureds a secure web account with access to risk management information and educational materials relating to each coverage option.

MDAdvantage CEO Patricia Costante said that Supreme Advantage was developed to help physicians in all specialties ranging from solo practitioners to those in large groups afford the increasingly high cost of practicing medicine in New Jersey.
