Massachusetts Interlocal Insurance Association (MIIA) has deployed DAVID Corporation's NavRisk suite as the new claims and policy administration system for its Property & Casualty and Workers’ Compensation Group.

The comprehensive administrative suite will streamline MIIA’s policy administration, underwriting and claims management, according to the company.

NavRisk suite consists of NavRisk Policy, policy administration and underwriting, NavRisk Claims, claims management, NavRisk Central, self service risk management portal and NavRisk Analytics, as well as advanced reporting and business intelligence.

MIIA operations manager John Kelly said NavRisk suite was selected as it emerged as the most user-friendly and feature rich software package out of all nine systems that were validated by the company during a lengthy due-diligence process.

”Both underwriting and claims staffs were impressed by its ease of use and feature set,” Kelly added.

DAVID president and CEO Alex Aminian said, ”Our software development process is collaborative with our clients, and our risk pool clients have had tremendous input in shaping NavRisk into a comprehensive pool administration solution.”

NavRisk suite supports workers’ compensation, general liability, auto, property, inland marine, professional liability and hundreds of specialty lines of business in 50 states across the US.

MIIA is a provider of insurance coverage, loss prevention and risk services to municipalities and other governmental entities in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, US.
