Marsh Networks and Allianz Insurance are extending the range of Allianz commercial products available to Marsh Networks’ member brokers. The agreement means Marsh Networks’ members can gain access to innovative products that are tailored exclusively for the insurance needs of their small and medium-sized (SME) commercial clients.

Marsh Networks has negotiated exclusive enhancements for its broker members, which include cover for inadvertent omission to insure, as well as wider cover and significantly increased limits across property damage, business interruption, contract works, loss of rent and general liability.

The Allianz Complete suite includes:

Complete Business: A flexible range of property and liability cover for a wide spectrum of businesses, from manufacturing to service industries.
Complete Property Flat Owners: Designed for property owners with up to 20 premises.
Complete Flat Owners: For blocks of flats, and designed to meet the specialist needs of flat owners.
Complete Office: For office-based businesses, from graphic designers to estate agents, doctors surgeries to veterinary surgeons.
Complete Contractor: For sole traders, partnerships and limited companies operating in a range of contracting trades, with up to nine persons engaged in the business.
Complete Retailer: Essential cover for a range of retail business owners, from fashion and sporting to home wares.

Cover can be written via Allianz’s QuoteSME platform, a full-cycle e-trading solution, which enables brokers to quote, buy, adjust and renew in seconds, and receive policy documentation immediately. Marsh Networks’ members will also benefit from a wide underwriting footprint, competitive pricing and dedicated support from qualified underwriters, as well as support for deal and scheme arrangements and white labelling.

Martyn Denney, Head of Marsh Networks, said: "Marsh Networks is committed to providing its members with a differentiated product portfolio that equips them to compete more effectively and write more business. Today’s announcement with Allianz is a significant development and addresses key concerns our members have about losing more SME business to the direct channel.

"We are delighted to have extended our highly successful relationship with Allianz. The firm is already a key trading partner for our members and that comes down to its focus on shaping products to exactly match the needs of brokers’ end customers, rather than focusing solely on enhanced commissions, which gives our members the edge they need to retain and grow their business in the SME space."

David Martin, Director of SME Markets, Allianz Commercial, commented: "We are delighted to have extended our successful relationship with Marsh Networks. We want to remain a key trading partner for its broker members, and that is why we are focussed on shaping products to exactly match the needs of their end customers.

"We are confident that our Complete product range, combined with our fully-integrated SME business model, offers brokers the flexibility required to trade competitively in the SME market."
