Marsh, an insurance broker and risk advisor, has appointed Ryan Barber as head of Industry Specialization within its US property practice.
In this newly created role, Barber will be responsible for developing and implementing industry-based risk advisory and insurance placement strategies and solutions within the Property Practice.
Based in New York, he will report to Duncan Ellis, Marsh’s US property practice leader.
He will join Marsh with over 15 years of experience working with clients from various range of industries and with various levels of risk complexity.
After spending the first seven years of his career with Marsh, Barber worked at Willis as a senior property broker and business development specialist. Most recently, he served as co-leader of Integro’s US property practice.
